Val & Saleh | Discovery Park Engagement

Talk about a sweet meet-cute! For their first date, they were meeting out in Capitol Hill. Saleh arrived early at the spot they’d chosen, but it was closed (it was New Year’s Day). Val told him she’d walk towards him from her place and they’d find a new spot together (she lived nearby). He walked in her direction and when they saw each other across the street they waved. They ended up meeting for the very first time in the middle of a crosswalk, where they hugged and luckily weren’t bothered by cars. They refer to the spot as their very own crosswalk.

Now they’re engaged to be married and celebrated with some fall photos! The morning was perfect and in true Seattle fashion we literally had every season in 1 hour- it was sunny, cloudy, and even rained.
