Amanda & Amy | West Seattle Proposal

She contacted us months ago to plan her proposal. She wanted it to be perfect and planned everything, including scouting the location and sending us photos of several possible spots they may sit to watch the ocean before proposing.Of course the best plans sometimes get turned upside down! They ended up a little further down the beach (and I ran to the new location so as not to miss it), but had the whole view to themselves. It had been a tough week for Amy so instead of doing a fancy dinner beforehand they ended up at a casual spot for a bite to eat. As they strolled along the beach Amy thought Amanda was acting funny. They sat down and wrapped up in blankets against the wind. As they sat there bundled up together Amanda pulled out a ring box, got down on one knee (on her sweater, she's incredibly sensible), and poured her heart out to Amy. Of course she said, "yes!" and we spent the rest of sunset taking photos on their favorite spot on the waterfront, gushing about how Amanda had planned the evening, how Amy had almost guessed it, and how the two of them were now engaged!Amanda & Amy, thank you for the huge honor of capturing such an intimate and special moment in your lives together.
