2017 Behind the Scenes with the Ciccarellis
When we look back on each past year it's not the glamour, the best shots, the long hours that we dwell on, but the experiences and memories that make us feel like we have the best job in the world. It's the time spent with the people we get blessed to meet, to capture, and to create some beautiful moments with. For us, we remember each wedding, engagement, couple, family, and new baby by a special memory- like the first dance that had everyone crying happy tears or the last dance that brought everyone out of their seats or the couple that couldn't take their eyes off each other the entire walk down the aisle or the family that laughed together the entire time.We know that not everyone is likely to remember their photographer, but we honestly can say that we remember all of our clients and it truly brings us joy working with them! Here are a few behind the scenes photos and our yearly traditional photo-bombs (mostly Erik gets a kick out of doing these, but I manage to jump in a few!).Erik wanted his own ring shot apparently...Some iPhone BTS photos! Matching bumps and acting as chauffeurs.Where's Erik?A real accidental photo-bomb curtesy of Erik.Bryce is learning early how to photobomb! And soothe newborns! He is an assistant in the making.Erik's got the deep lunge down...Using the baby bump to prop up the reflector...We love showing our clients photos as we work!We made a new fury friend at Daniel & Matthew's zoo wedding this summer!By the end of a session our clients truly work it and we all just have a ton of fun!Gotcha!Hiding in the foliage...We also test a lot of our locations and lighting before our clients arrive, which results in some truly gorgeous portraits of us since we take posing so very seriously. We truly love working with all the people that come into our lives. Our goal is to make our clients laugh and have a great experience while getting some beautiful photos, but we also walk away with aching cheeks from all the laughs that our clients gift us. We feel so lucky to work with such happy people! Thanks for reliving our year with us. Cheers to a happy and healthy 2018! ~Erik & Marissa
