Ashley & Duncan | Sodo Park Wedding
The lights were lit, guests seated and wedding party looking sharp in tuxes and little black dresses. Ashley's mother and friends had spent hours decorating Sodo Park with loads of greenery and lots of love. Everyone rose to their feet as Ashley gripped her dad's elbow. She walked down the aisle with all the giddiness of a woman marrying the man she knew would be the one. As they slowly made their way toward Duncan, her Ashley-isms (as Duncan calls them) came pouring out in her excited faces to see the people she loves all there to celebrate.Just an hour before we had been tromping through alleys in and around Sodo finding urban nooks for photos when a light mist came unexpectedly raining down on us. While we shielded Ashley with our reflector and their amazing coordinator Laura came sprinting with umbrellas Ashley & Duncan just laughed, enjoying every moment of this day. Taking advantage of the sun and the rain we snagged a few photos (Ashley- you are so amazing to not care about a little wet for a great photo) and spotted a rainbow over their venue. Not that Ashley & Duncan need any good omens for their solid-full-of-love relationship, but it was certainly an amazing moment, just taking in a beautiful sight on such a perfect day. Congratulations Ashley & Duncan! You two sweeties deserve each other plus a lifetime of love and happiness. We couldn't be more excited for you both! ~Erik & MarissaHuge thanks go out to...Venue- Sodo ParkCoordinator- Simplicity Events LLCCatering- Herban FeastCake- The SweetsideOfficiant- A Heavenly CeremonyPhotographers- Ciccarelli PhotographyVideographer- Bogle ProductionsFlorist- Mother of the bride and friends, they call themselves "Four Buds and a Truck"DJ- Seattle Wedding DJHair & Makeup Artist- Lindsey WatkinsInvitations & Signage- Silberman BrownPhoto Booth- The SnapBarDress- Luly YangTuxes- The Black Tux
