Our 2015 Behind the Scenes

Happy 2016! This is always the time of year that we update our portfolio and although we cannot wait to share some of our favorite 2015 images with you...we also found some real doozies. Those behind the scenes images of ourselves that look ridiculous or highlight some of the crazy things we do for our clients.Enjoy. ~Erik & MarissaErik always starts a session with his famous pep-talk...if it feels awkward, it looks awesome!Erik got cuffed with one of our client's real handcuffs. He looks too happy about it!Sometimes our job is more than photography...we fix bustles...comb back loose hairs...hold bouquets for brides...carry lots of bags...button cuffs...chauffeur our couples to cool photo locations,and help brides down huge hills in high heels...even when 8 months pregnant.And sometimes our clients go above and beyond to help us!We also take test shots to get our lighting.Erik is a contortionist when it comes to getting cool angled shots.And Marissa will sneak into the bushes to get the shot she needs.If you're lucky, we will photo bomb one of your shots!Carlos the cat decided to test out our in-home studio. One of our final photo shoots of the year was on our baby's due date...photographing a baby!Loved taking maternity photos of our friend Barrie! Oh yeah, and Marissa was 8.5 months pregnant so we had to do a bump photo.What a year! Thanks to everyone who smiled at our terrible jokes and laughed when Erik photo bombed you.
