Kristina & Chris | Orcas Island Wedding
A vacation in the San Juan Islands led them to an overlook from a grassy knoll on Orcas Island, and they just knew. This would be the perfect spot to start the rest of their lives together as husband and wife.As the geese paddled by in the ocean below and the wind brushed through the orchard nearby, Kristina walked arm in arm with her parents to meet Chris on that same grassy knoll. There were teary, handwritten vows from Kristina, who swore she wouldn't cry, and huge smiles from Chris, the usually stoic groom. Their flower-pup Lucy waited patiently in the front row and wagged her tail in excitement when cheers erupted for the first kiss.We have a feeling this spot will be special for many years to come, as a getaway, for anniversaries, and one day to bring their children to tell the story of how they were married at this very spot on the island, the grassy knoll overlooking the ocean.Congratulations you two! ~Erik & MarissaFirst dress of the day for Kristina was her traditional red dress for the tea ceremony with family. After serving tea to their family Kristina changed into her white wedding dress. What a view for their wedding day! The drive to the top of Mt.
