Fun Day - Orcas Island | The Ciccarellis

About a month ago we realized this past weekend was going to be our first free weekend together since July! We immediately crossed it out of our calendars so that neither of us would get booked. A friend offered to let us stay in their Orcas Island house so we jumped on a ferry and then realized this was Erik's first trip to the San Juan Islands! Our weekend was full of forest hiking, climbing the rocky beach, getting lost driving in the dark, awing over the views from Mt. Constitution (Jessica- you were right, we were glad we drove to the top), the perfect salty & sweet combo of popcorn and brownies with a movie, catching glimpses of deer, dolphins, seals, slugs and a wild peacock (not making this part up) and some R&R.

We also had fun taking a few photos and playing with the video feature on our cameras. Below is a video glimpse into our Moran State Park hike...
