Safiya - Wild in the Wind

Baby Safiya was a bundle of cuteness as her mom pulled her from the car in her printed dress and white furry coat. She was a bit hesitant about us, but was soon happily pushing her cart around showing us how she can almost walk!

Safiya is about to turn 1 years old and was showing us, not only her walking skills, but her beginning sound making and how she smiles for the camera.

It was pretty cold for March in California, but with her fluffy coat Safiya was a great sport! The wind wasn't even an issue for her and even enhanced her photos...we call these the "windblown" look.

She wasn't always thrilled to be getting her photo taken, but we liked these serious pictures as well. Doesn't everyone have more than one side to their personality? We think so.

Near the end of the shoot we found this wagon and Safiya was thrilled to crawl in and feel the wind in her face (even though it wasn't actually moving).

Happy (almost) Birthday Safiya! We can't wait to see you again.
