The "First Look" - Wedding Photography
Many of our couples start thinking about their wedding day and when they'd first like to see one another. We think it's super important to talk this through and make sure you're both on the same page. We never encourage our couples one way or another (even though many of them ask!), we totally think this is YOUR choice because it's YOUR wedding after all!
You have a ton of decisions to make, but the first time you see your fiancé on your wedding day may be one of the most important! Some of our couples like to wait until the ceremony when the blushing bride is slowly walking down the aisle and the groom is nervously waiting at the end. And some of our couples request a first look to have a special reveal and be able to talk to one another for a few moments before the ceremony. The grooms say the sweetest things about how beautiful their bride looks!
No matter what you decide we always love capturing your special, emotion-filled moment and guarantee that you will feel so much happiness and love at that time.
We've added some pictures from Samantha & Luke's first look this past December to show the sequence of what could happen if you choose to have a first look. Sam & Luke decided to include their wedding party and family, which you will see in some of the photos, but some of our couples do their first look privately. Again, it's up to YOU!
The first time you see your fiance will be emotional whether it's during the processional or a first look. That's our favorite part, capturing that special emotion-filled moment so you feel it again when you look back at your photos.
