Morton Family - Smiles & Tongues | Old Dublin

We happened to be in the Midwest for a wedding when we met up with the Morton family. We had scheduled this family session way in advance, but were surprised with Hurricane Sandy. We were fortunate to not lose power or have any flooding, but it was starting to rain and was incredibly windy by the time we met up with the Mortons for pictures. To our amazement this family was so incredibly cool about it, they didn't even flinch. We moved the location from a park (which would have been in the middle of the elements) to Old Dublin, with it's stoops, old buildings, and a bit of cover from the wind and sprinkles. Cora jumped into the spotlight for pictures while Athan took a bit longer to warm up to us. When he did though we couldn't stop laughing as he entertained us with sticking out his tongue and making jokes. This family is what you imagine a family should have: love, warmth, and the most easy-going happy attitudes. It was such a pleasure being around them!
