Kate Talcott Artistry | Seattle Business Branding Photographer

We love when our forever families ask us to use our photography in other ways! This sweet mama is an amazing artist and decided to start a small business with her husband to sell her art. They wanted some marketing for their website and social media feeds and that's where we came in. Our first shoot together over the summer really focused on their brand, headshots and photos to use for the website. This shoot was entirely Christmas and full of holiday cheer (in October)!It was such a blast getting into the Xmas spirit early and capturing some family photos mixed with business (aren't all small business owners such a mix of family and business anyway?). We alternated between getting some detail shots (Kate is the master at getting everything designed, staged, and ready to go), some candids of Kate working (she made everything on the table, the wrapping paper, and even the dog portraits hanging above the mantel...she's a seriously talented artist), fun photos of Andy carrying all the packaging, and their cute daughter eating cookies (certainly the best job of the day). All in a days work am I right mamas out there who also run a business!?The time we spent together switching back and forth between Kate being a mom and business owner reminded me of my own day to day!Thanks so much Kate, Andy & Penny for letting me into your lives, your business and even your family Xmas traditions this year! ~Marissa
