Sama & Victor | Gas Works Park Proposal

His plans to propose had been rescheduled for months since Covid canceled their anniversary travel plans. They finally had a trip scheduled to San Francisco, but even that was canceled because of the fires so they pivoted and came to Seattle instead! It was pretty special because he grew up here and was showing her around for the first time. Little did she know that the city skyline view he wanted to show her was going to be even more special.

They climbed the hill and luckily the park was pretty empty because of the smoke that day (which made for some pretty soft, pink lighting). He was filled with nervous energy, the moment he been planning for months was finally here. They walked to the edge of the viewpoint and he wasted no time dropping to one knee and popping the question. She said yes! Her reactions and their chatting after were so sweet. Basically she was shocked all of her family and friends had known and hadn't blown it! Once the magnitude of the moment had passed his reaction falling over to his knees was priceless.

The rest of the session was filled with giddy energy as the two excitedly looked at the ring, each other, and talked about how he had pulled off this big surprise. Congratulations Same & Victor! What a night. ~Marissa & Erik
